Determination of antinutritional factors in plants of livestock interest
Abstract
This work gave the posibility to determine the presence of antinutritions factors in three species of plants which are of cattle concern: Gliricidia sepium, Erythrina variegata and Jatropha aethiopica. Saponins and tannis were found in the three analyzed plants. The presence of alkaloids was found in J. aethiopica and in E. variegata. Meanwhile, cyanogenic compounds were found only in J.Aethiopica.
