Editorial

The University of Camagüey “Ignacio Agramonte y Loynaz” was the venue for the V International Conference “Science and Technology for a Sustainable Development” (CyTDES, Spanish acronym), organized by the Faculties of Agriculture Science and Chemistry & Food Science from 3rd to 5th June, 2013. In this context, it was celebrated the V International Symposium “Agriculture and Livestock Sciences for a Sustainable Development” and the I Bilateral Symposium between the Norwegian School of Veterinary Sciences and the University of Camagüey, where were introduced researches on the following subjects: agriculture, animal health, zootechnics, plants production and economy, and agricultural education. Nine articles were selected to include them into this issue of Revista de Producción Animal, since they adjust the research line in the Center of Studies of Animal Production (CEDEPA, Spanish acronym) and the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.
